ABOUT ME
Photographic styles such as reflections, street scenes, Impressionism, birds and black & white photography are art forms I love pursing.
I established a very succesful photography business, running multiple tours and workshops with 4 other photographers throughout the Auckland region, striving to improve the technical knowledge and artistic capabilities of the participants (the company was discontinued during the Covid period)
I still continue to be very active in my local photography community with mentoring aspiring photographers.
Right now it gives me a real thrill to explore and discover distorted observations in reflective glass facades of ordinary office blocks.
The interplay of these reflections with light, glass and architecture mesmerises me with each image evolving in a visual experience I aim to capture.
I am deeply impressed by the talents of Friendenreich Hundertwasser and often display his writings and disdain for straight lines in my exhibitions, which although I fully agree with, I not reflect in my own artistic presentations, as it is my vision to show case the actual beauty reflected behind these straight lines and mundane facades.
